EOGHAN-GARLANDEoghan Garland

BSc Arch BArch MRIAI

Eoghan is a graduate of the Richview School of Architecture, UCD and a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland [RIAI]. Following graduation in 2003, Eoghan entered private practice, initially in the employ of Frank Elmes and thereafter, as part of the team at DMOD, building up a solid portfolio of new build and conservation works, residential and commercial developments. With a significant volume of projects in the private residential property sector, Eoghan has acquired extensive experience in realising residential projects of all spectra, from small scale interventions, to bespoke infill developments, to one-off houses on green field sites.

The foundation of Eoghan Garland Architect Ltd. in 2009 further enabled Eoghan to diversify into the area of healthcare and to develop expertise in the design of accessible facilities for children and adults with special needs. Commissions to date have included residential, day care and leisure facilities, often in active campus environments, where the sensitive needs of the end user groups required particular attention, care and respect.

In 2015, Eoghan formed Dolan & Garland Architects with Eileen, bringing his extensive knowledge of the Irish planning and regulatory backdrop, a thorough understanding of stakeholder and end-user requirements and a strong passion for good design.
